Armenia’s first ambassador to Colombia takes office

Armenian Ambassador to Colombia Armen Yeganyan has presented his credentials to President Gustavo Petro, taking office as the first Armenian Ambassador in the country, the foreign ministry reported.
Yeganyan is Armenia's Ambassador to Brazil and will cover Colombia concurrently.
After the ceremony, Ambassador Yeganyan conveyed Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan’s greetings to President Petro.
Later on the same day, the Armenian Ambassador presented the copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Rosa Yolanda Villavicencio. They discussed the Armenia-Colombia bilateral agenda.
