Gazprom temporarily suspends Armenia gas supply citing maintenance

Gazprom Armenia, the subsidiary of the Russian Gazprom, announced a temporary suspension of natural gas supply to Armenia for maintenance work on its pipeline running through Georgia.

The supply will be halted from 07:00, July 24 until 19:00 July 26, Gazprom Armenia said in a press release.

The maintenance will be conducted in the Kazakh-Saguramo (DN 1000) section of the Northern Caucasus-Transcaucasia transit pipeline in Georgian territory, the company added.

Households and other consumers in Armenia will still have uninterrupted gas supply through domestic reserves and additional volumes of natural gas supplied from Iran, the company said.
