On the sidelines of his working visit to Brussels, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan met with Raffaele Fitto, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Cohesion and Reforms.
The parties praised the Armenia-EU political dialogue, noting that it has entered a new and more intensive phase. They discussed the importance of Armenia's involvement in regional initiatives, particularly in the context of the EU’s new strategic approach to the Black Sea region, Grigoryan's office has said.
Deputy Prime Minister Grigoryan presented the Armenian government’s “Crossroads of Peace” project, emphasizing its significance in promoting lasting peace and stability in the region. The importance of this initiative's connection with the EU’s Global Gateway strategy was also highlighted.
The sides exchanged views on opportunities for further developing Armenia-EU trade and economic relations.
