President Vahagn Khachaturyan receives outgoing UK Ambassador to Armenia

President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Armenia, John Gallagher, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

Welcoming Ambassador Gallagher, President Khachaturyan praised his efforts in strengthening Armenian-British relations and highlighted the positive outcomes achieved during his tenure.

The President particularly emphasized the United Kingdom’s support for the development of democratic institutions in Armenia, especially in the area of civil society.

Ambassador Gallagher expressed his gratitude for the warm reception, noting that Armenia holds a special place in his heart and that he will remain a friend of the country in the future.

Both sides stressed the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation and fully realizing its potential in political, economic, and other spheres.

President Khachaturyan wished Ambassador Gallagher success in his future endeavors.
