Azerbaijani, Syrian presidents hold meeting in Baku

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held an official meeting on July 12 with Ahmed Al-Sharaa, the Transitional President of the Syrian Arab Republic, as part of the latter’s visit to Baku.

The meeting began with a formal welcoming ceremony. 

According to Azerbaijani media, at this moment, a one-on-one meeting between President Ilham Aliyev and Transitional President Ahmed Al-Sharaa is taking place.
