PM Pashinyan chairs discussion on penitentiary system reform concept

A working meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was held to discuss the Ministry of Justice’s concept for reforming Armenia’s penitentiary system.
The discussion was attended by heads and representatives of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan presented the key priorities and strategic directions of the reform.
The meeting focused particularly on strengthening the capacities of penitentiary institutions, enhancing the professional skills of staff, expanding resocialization programs, and other issues.
