US expresses readiness to continue supporting Armenia defense reforms

Armenian Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan met with United States Ambassador Kristina Kvien and the newly appointed Defense Attaché, Colonel Matthew Crowe.
Minister Papikyan congratulated Colonel Crowe on his appointment and wished him success in his new role.
According to a readout from the Ministry of Defense, the meeting included discussions on the current state and future prospects of Armenia–United States defense cooperation. Both sides praised the high level of ongoing collaboration.
The U.S. side expressed its readiness to continue supporting defense reforms in Armenia.
Regional and international security issues were also discussed.
