MP Artur Sargsyan jailed

The Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of the Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts of Yerevan has granted the petition to detain Artur Sargsyan, a deputy of the "Hayastan" faction of the National Assembly, for a period of two months.

Earlier, the National Assembly approved the Prosecutor General’s petition to detain Sargsyan, with 62 deputies voting in favor.
