Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has extended his congratulations and best wishes to Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen as Denmark takes over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
“I wish all the success to my Danish counterpart Lars Løkke Rasmussen during #eu2025dk, looking forward to our new engagements both bilaterally and within the Armenia-EU partnership,” Mirzoyan wrote in a post on X.
In a statement released on June 30, the Council of the European Union marked the transition of the rotating presidency:
“After six busy and exciting months, it's time to say goodbye to the Polish presidency of the Council @Poland25eu. Thank you for all your work! On 1 July, we say hej (hello) to Denmark.”
