Mirzoyan, Araghchi discuss bilateral relations, regional developments

A phone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Abbas Araghchi.

According to Iran’s Tasnim news agency, Araghchi thanked Mirzoyan for Yerevan’s position and support during the Israeli attack on Iran.

During the call, the Iranian Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to the Armenian government for its stance and appreciated its efforts in providing consular services to Iranian citizens during the 12-day war against Iran.

According to Tasnim, the ministers discussed and exchanged views on bilateral relations and recent regional developments.

Araghchi strongly condemned the aggressive actions of Israel and the United States against Iran. He noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran is seriously pursuing its right to receive compensation for the aggression in international organizations.

For his part, Foreign Minister Mirzoyan welcomed the cessation of military operations, which he said would contribute to regional stability and the reduction of tensions.

 He once again condemned the aggressive actions against Iran.
