President Khachaturyan meets with Angolan counterpart in Spain

Within the framework of his working visit to the Kingdom of Spain, President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan met with President of Angola João Lourenço.

According to the Office of the President, the two leaders discussed ways to develop cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including information and high technologies, mining, diamond processing.

President Lourenço expressed readiness to promote cooperation in the diamond industry, highlighting Armenia’s established traditions and strong potential in the field.

The initiative to establish a Tumo Center in Angola was also emphasized as an effective step toward deepening sectoral collaboration.

 Both sides underlined the importance of strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing programmatic cooperation.
