Armenian Prosecutor General, Iranian Ambassador discuss issues of mutual interest

Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan on Friday received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, Vardapetyan welcomed the ambassador and emphasized the importance of holding the meeting despite the current challenges to regional stability and peace. She expressed hope that efforts aimed at achieving peace would be successful.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a range of issues of mutual interest, primarily focusing on the extradition of wanted individuals, the provision of legal assistance, and other areas of cooperation.
