Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan did not raise the issue of the return of so-called Azerbaijani refugees to Armenia during his meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Istanbul, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan said on Thursday.
At a press briefing, a reporter asked the Deputy Foreign Minister to confirm or deny reports claiming that Erdogan had attempted to bring up the so-called issue of the return of “Azerbaijani refugees” to Armenia during the June 20 meeting with the Armenian leader.
Kostanyan said those reports “are untrue.”
