Deputy FM Kostanyan, European Commission’s Pawel Busiakiewicz discuss visa liberalization

Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan received a delegation led by Pawel Busiakiewicz, the Head of the International Affairs Unit at the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs of the European Commission, who arrived in Armenia as part of the dialogue on the Visa Liberalisation Dialogue regime between Armenia and the EU, the foreign ministry has said in a statement.

During the meeting, the parties discussed matters on the development of the Action Plan for Visa Liberalization, as well as the scope of cooperation with the EU on visa matters. EU partners provided information on discussions held during the visit with the representatives of relevant Armenian Ministries concerning reforms carried out by the Government of Armenia in areas such as data and document security, human rights, prevention and fight against organized crime, corruption, and financial crimes.
