Romania expresses support for stronger Armenia-EU ties

Romania’s new foreign minister Toiu Oana thanked her Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan for congratulating her on taking office and underscored readiness to advance bilateral cooperation.
“Thank you, Ararat Mirzoyan , for the warm words upon taking office. Romania highly values the long-lasting friendship between our nations, rooted in historic bonds and common values. I stand ready to work closely with you to advance our political dialogue and bilateral cooperation across the board. Romania remains a supporter of the continuous development of the Armenia-EU relations and a promoter of regional stability, peace and prosperity,” Toiu Oana said in a post on X.
