Station installed in Syunik detects no changes in the environmental gamma radiation background

Specialists from the Nuclear Safety Regulatory Committee of the Republic of Armenia with the Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety CJSC, have installed a station of the “Early Warning Radiation Monitoring System” in the Syunik region. The system provides continuous, 24/7 monitoring of the environmental gamma radiation background.

According to the Committee, measurements taken on June 23 from 09:00 to 15:00 indicated no changes in the environmental gamma radiation levels.
