The positions of Armenia and Türkiye on a number of regional issues are quite close, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community in Türkiye.
“Unfortunately, our region continues to be rather tense. One of the main goals of such visits and contacts is to discuss what we can do to make the region more stable, more peaceful, and more secure. That is the most important agenda of contacts in this context,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
He noted that there is a factor that provides a basis for dialogue.
“The positions of Armenia and Türkiye on several regional issues are quite close. This does not happen often, but at this moment, we see that our perceptions on a number of international issues are quite similar. This, in turn, has an impact on the atmosphere and tone of our relations,” Pashinyan added.
