Armenian President meets with UAE Secretary-General of Higher Committee of Human Fraternity

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received Dr. Khalid Al-Ghaith, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity of the United Arab Emirates, who arrived in Armenia to participate in the 3rd International Conference on Social Justice to be held in Yerevan, Khachaturyan’s office said in a press release.

Welcoming the guest, President Khachaturyan highly appreciated the work of the organization led by Dr. Al-Ghaith, as well as his personal efforts aimed at promoting tolerance, peaceful coexistence among peoples, and universal values. The President emphasized that, by sharing these universal values, Armenia and the UAE have great potential to deepen their cooperation in this direction, contributing to the establishment of both regional and global peace.

Dr. Al-Ghaith expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome, noting that he visits Armenia with great affection and places high value on the relations established between the two countries.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Ghaith presented the main areas of activity of the organization and the ongoing efforts to expand international cooperation with various global institutions and educational centers.

During the meeting, possible directions for cooperation in the humanitarian field were discussed. Both sides emphasized the importance of joint initiatives in education, youth engagement, sports, and university programs as effective platforms for deepening ties and strengthening mutual understanding between peoples. President Khachaturyan and Dr. Al-Ghaith stressed the necessity of promoting the values of tolerance, humanism, and mutual respect as a foundation for regional and global peace.
The conversation touched upon the dynamically developing cooperation between Armenia and the UAE in the political, economic, educational, and cultural spheres, highlighting the mutual interest in further expanding these ties.

Both sides welcomed the holding of the 3rd International Conference on Social Justice, viewing it as an important platform for advancing universal values. In this context, the regular organization of such events was emphasized to promote dialogue, trust, and international solidarity.

At the end of the meeting, the President of the Republic stressed that Armenia has adopted a clear position of moving forward on the path of peace, good-neighborliness, and cooperation, and is ready to consistently contribute to building a peaceful, stable, and harmonious world.
