Israel says ready to assist stranded tourists

The Israeli tourism ministry has expressed readiness to assist tourists stranded in the country in leaving via special flights, The Times of Israel reported.

The ministry has launched an online application system for this purpose.

The tourism ministry estimates that around 38,000 tourists are currently in Israel.

The airspace has been closed amid the ongoing Israeli-Iranian airstrikes.
