Armenian official highlights opening of French honorary consulate in Syunik

Armenian Foreign Ministry Secretary General Davit Karapetyan has met with the Honorary Consul of France in Goris Karmen Apunts.

Karapetyan congratulated Apunts on her appointment as Honorary Consul, the foreign ministry said in a readout. Both sides attached importance to the opening of the Honorary Consulate of France in the Syunik province of Armenia.

Karapetyan underscored the importance of decentralized cooperation in the context of developing bilateral relations. The ongoing programs and future steps in cultural and trade-economic sectors were discussed.
