At least 224 Iranians have been killed in Israeli strikes since hostilities began on Friday, Tehran Times reported citing the Iranian health ministry.

1,227 people have been injured, according to the report. 90% of the victims are civilians, including women and children.

At least 19 people have been killed in Israel in Iranian counterstrikes, according to the BBC.

Strikes by Israel and Iran continue as the conflict between the two countries enters its fourth day.

Israel launched what it calls Operation Rising Lion against Iran's nuclear facilities in the early hours of Friday, calling it a preemptive strike designed to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
