Armenia seeks stronger ties with EU, says official

Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan lauded Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset’s recent visit to Armenia, stressing its positive impact on expansion of Armenia-EU ties.

“Naturally I assess the visit positively. You know that the Armenia-EU relations have never been as strong as now, we have aspirations to further strengthen these ties, we want to encompass new sectors and work on the development of our relations,” he said when asked by Armenpress on the trip.

He said Berset’s visit had a positive impact in terms of deepening and enhancing the Armenia-EU ties.
