A senior government official has refused to confirm or deny the media reports claiming PM Nikol Pashinyan is planning to travel to Turkiye to hold a meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of the Security Council, was asked by reporters to comment.

He refused to comment and called on the media to wait for any such information by the government.

“For details let us wait for the statement by the prime minister’s office,” Grigoryan said, refusing to comment on possible timeframes or generally the visit.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan earlier also neither confirmed nor denied the report. She said that the prime minister’s office is issuing information on international visits within proper timeframes.
