Iran says US is responsible for Israeli attack

Tehran has accused the US of involvement in the Israeli attacks targeting Iran. 

In a statement, the Iranian foreign ministry said the attacks couldn’t have taken place without US “coordination and permission.”

It said the US would also bear responsibility for the consequences of the “Zionist regime’s aggression.”

It said Iran has the right to take countermeasures against Israel.

Earlier US President Donald Trump said  the US was not involved in the attack but admitted knowing about the plans.
