Armenia, Estonia discuss cooperation in high-tech sector

First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gevorg Mantashyan has met with a delegation led by Ambassador of Estonia to Armenia Marge Mardisalu-Kahar. The delegation included Ingrid Kressel, Director for Development Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and Andres Ääremaa, Programme Manager for Digital Transformation at the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV).

Nerses Yeritsyan, the director of the Information Systems Agency of Armenia, also attended the meeting.

The discussion focused on the course of jointly implemented projects, the outlined results, programs in digitization, cybersecurity, e-governance and cloud services, details about priorities and challenges, and opportunities to enhance the cooperation in this context.

The officials also discussed the high-level mutual visits and active partnership, which underscores the continuous and developing partnership between the two countries in the high-tech sector and readiness to enhance cooperation.
