Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan has met with a delegation of Philip Morris International led by Frederic de Wilde, President for South and Southeast Asia, Commonwealth of Independent States, Middle East and Africa Region.
Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan also attended the meeting.
Khachatryan praised the “scientific-research” initiatives implemented by Philip Morris International in Armenia, stressing its importance in terms of "developing scientific potential and advancing educational projects", the government said in a readout. In this context, the Deputy PM attached importance to the activities of the company’s scientific-research center in terms of knowledge-based and data-based decision making.
Possible directions of future cooperation were discussed.
