Discussions regarding Armenia's decision to benefit from the European Peace Facility again in 2025 are ongoing.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vahan Kostanyan said during the joint session of the National Assembly standing committees, while presenting the annual report on the implementation of the 2024 state budget.

"In 2024, Armenia managed to benefit from the European Union's European Peace Facility, receiving 10 million euros in support. Currently, discussions are ongoing regarding the decision for 2025. It is important to emphasize that Armenia is already included as a beneficiary state in the preliminary programs for 2026," said Kostanyan.

Armenia had previously received €10 million from the European Peace Facility to establish a modular field camp for a battalion, which will also include a medical aid clinic, as well as related services and capabilities.

Armenia has also submitted a second application to benefit from the European Peace Facility in 2025.
