Armenia received 42 billion drams in loan funds from the European Union in 2024, Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said, presenting the annual report on the implementation of the 2024 state budget.
“In 2024, 42 billion drams in loan funds were received from the European Union. Of this, 10.8 billion drams were program loans, and 31.2 billion drams were non-targeted; they were allocated for general budget support,” Hovhannisyan noted.
He added that grant funds used for program implementation totaled 4 billion 218 million drams. An additional 14 billion 780 million drams in grants were received specifically for budget support.
