Russia’s Matviyenko arrives in Armenia

Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Valentina Matviyenko, has arrived in Armenia on an official visit.

According to the official website of the Federation Council, Matviyenko is scheduled to meet with the country’s leadership. In particular, a meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, is planned.

Matviyenko and Simonyan will also open the 39th session of the Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

On the same day, Valentina Matviyenko will participate in the 10th Russian-Armenian Interregional Forum.
