The relations between the Republic of Armenia and the United States are not directed against any third country, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said in the National Assembly, addressing concerns over the Armenian-American Strategic Partnership and its possible impact on relations with other nations.
“The relations between the Republic of Armenia and the United States are not directed against any third country- be it Russia or Madagascar. And when such questions arise, we explain this to all our partners, just as we would never allow Armenia–Russia relations to be directed against any other third country,” Mirzoyan emphasized.
Regarding Iran–US relations, Mirzoyan noted that Armenia is ready to contribute to the normalization of relations between the two countries , within the scope of its capabilities, even if they hold opposing stances.
