BP considers development of gas reserves in Karabakh field

BP is considering the development of gas reserves in the Karabakh field, according to Colin Allan, BP’s Vice President for Finance in the Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye (AGT) region, APA-Economics reports.

He made the statement during the 30th Anniversary Baku Energy Forum held in Baku.

Allan noted that, in addition to oil production from the field, the company plans to evaluate future opportunities for developing the gas reserves discovered there.
