Armenian, Azerbaijani commissions on missing persons convene meeting

Representatives of the Armenian and Azerbaijani commissions on missing persons have held a meeting, the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia announced on Wednesday.

“During the meeting the sides addressed humanitarian issues pertaining to determining the fate of the persons who went missing during the conflict,” it said.

“The possibilities of exchange of information, as well as organizing and coordinating search operations were considered during the meeting. The sides stressed the importance of continuous dialogue in the humanitarian sector and reiterated their readiness to continue contacts for the benefit of the families of the missing persons," the NSS said.
