Prime Minister receives representatives of the Foreign Ministries of the Nordic-Baltic Eight

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received representatives of the foreign ministries of the Nordic-Baltic Eight.

The Prime Minister welcomed the visit and noted that in recent years Armenia has had an active political dialogue with the Northern Europe and Baltic countries, and a number of high-level mutual visits have been taking place, the PM's office has said in a readout.

According to Nikol Pashinyan, cooperation is also developing within the framework of the democratic reforms being implemented in our country, in particular, in the direction of exchanging experience and strengthening institutional capacities. Touching upon Armenia-EU relations, the Prime Minister noted that the parties are currently working on developing a cooperation agenda, which is expected to give a new impetus to the further expansion of multi-sectoral ties.

The Prime Minister then answered the questions of the participants of the meeting, which related to the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement, the demarcation process, regional developments, the development of Armenia-EU cooperation, as well as topics of international importance.
