Tension remains around Armenia’s Syunik province, says Russian defense minister

Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov has said that “tension” is maintained around Armenia’s Syunik province, according to the TASS news agency.

“Tension around Armenia’s Syunik province is maintained,” he said.

He added that Russia “is ready to do everything” in order to contribute to the signing of the Armenian-Azeri peace treaty.
