Russia, Ukraine begin biggest prisoner swap of war

Russia and Ukraine each released 390 prisoners on Friday and said they would free more in the coming days, in what is expected to be the biggest prisoner swap of the war so far.
Russia has received 270 prisoners of war and 120 civilians returned from Ukrainian captivity, its defense ministry said on Friday.
In exchange, Moscow transferred 270 Ukrainian soldiers and 120 civilians to Kyiv as part of a prisoner swap.
