Russia voices readiness to support Armenian territorial integrity and sovereignty

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Wednesday in Yerevan that Moscow is ready to support Armenian sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan, Lavrov said Russia attaches importance to the allied relations with Armenia and the deep ties between the two peoples.

“We continue to view the security area to be one of the most important directions of our allied ties. We are ready to support,  in all possible ways,  to ensure Armenia’s defense, sovereignty and territorial integrity,” he said.
