Armenian FM confirms readiness to continue effective political dialogue with Russia

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, during his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Yerevan on Wednesday, confirmed readiness to continue mutually beneficial cooperation, the foreign ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan said in a statement.
“I confirm our readiness to continue effective political dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation in line with the interests of our peoples and states,” Badalyan quoted Mirzoyan as saying during the meeting.
Mirzoyan and Lavrov met in Yerevan on Wednesday morning.
Lavrov said Russia “sincerely” wants to achieve normalization between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He said the Armenia-Russia-Azerbaijan trilateral agreements are the basis for this.
Lavrov said Russia offers support in the issue of unblocking of connections, as well as the resolution of issues pertaining to the delimitation of the Armenian-Azeri border.
