Moscow expects Lavrov’s visit to enhance bilateral dialogue with Armenia

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, touched upon the expectations regarding the upcoming visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Armenia during a weekly briefing.

“Moscow expects that Lavrov’s visit will promote the strengthening of political and interdepartmental dialogue between Russia and Armenia, deepen mutual understanding, and contribute to the search for mutually acceptable solutions to issues of interest to both sides,” Zakharova noted.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Armenia on May 20. On May 21, he is scheduled to meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President Vahagn Khachaturyan, and Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
