Magnitude 2,9 earthquake hits near Armenian-Georgian border

A magnitude 2,9 earthquake has hit near the Armenian-Georgian border, the seismic protection agency reported.

The quake was detected at 10:11, May 20, some 8km south-east of the village of Bavra at a depth of 10km.

It was felt at an intensity of 2-3 on the MSK scale in several villages across Shirak Province.

No damages were reported.
