Azerbaijani, Israeli defense ministers discuss military cooperation

The leadership of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan is on an official visit to Tel Aviv, Israel,  the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has said.

As part of the visit, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Zakir Hasanov, met with the Minister of Defense of the State of Israel, Israel Katz, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir.

According to the source, at the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects for the development of military cooperation.

The parties also discussed  plans for expanding cooperation in the military-technical and military-educational spheres.
