Pashinyan, EU’s Kallas discuss Armenia-Azerbaijan talks

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and EU top diplomat Kaja Kallas, during their May 16 meeting in Tirana, exchanged views around the Armenia-Azerbaijan negotiations process and attached importance to the signing of the peace agreement for the benefit of regional stability and cooperation, Pashinyan’s office said in a readout.
Issues related to the further development and current agenda of the Armenia-EU cooperation were also discussed.
The Armenian PM and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission lauded the processes taking place in the direction of consistent development of relations and noted that high-level active contacts would boost the joint projects.
The meeting took place within the framework of the 6th European Political Community Summit in Tirana, Albania.
