Armenian Speaker of Parliament meets with President of Kazakhstan

Armenian Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan has met with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during his official visit to Kazakhstan. 

Simonyan and the Kazakh president discussed the bilateral relationship agenda and issues pertaining to the regional developments, the parliament’s press service said in a readout.

Speaker Simonyan welcomed the Kazakh side’s statements about the conclusion of the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty negotiations, as well as Kazakhstan’s support for constructive dialogue between the two countries. 

Speaker Simonyan stressed that Armenia is interested in active expansion of bilateral cooperation in the trade-economic sector.
