Armenian Deputy PM, EU official discuss Crossroads of Peace

Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan has met with Gert Jan Koopman, Director-General of the Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood Directorate-General of the European Commission.

The parties discussed matters pertaining to unblocking and increased connectivity in the region, particularly the implementation of the Armenian government’s Crossroads of Peace project, Grigoryan’s office said in a press release.

The parties attached importance to the need for expanding economic, transport, energy and cable communications between the EU, South Caucasus and Asian regions.

The planned actions for 2025-2027 under the Resilience and Growth Plan announced in 2024 in Brussels were also discussed.
