Putin, Maduro hold talks at the Kremlin

The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has begun, Interfax reported, noting that it is taking place in the Grand Kremlin Palace.

The two leaders will sign a strategic partnership agreement, the Kremlin said.

Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters it would be a "weighty, substantial and very important framework document", without providing details.
