Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan congratulated Johann Wadephul on his appointment as Germany’s Foreign Minister.
“I congratulate you, dear Johann Wadephul on your appointment as Foreign Minister of Germany, warmly recalling our discussion in February 2023,” FM Mirzoyan said on X. “Armenia’s solid partnership with Germany, built on shared values & interests, holds great promise for the future. I look forward to continuing our close cooperation both bilaterally & within Armenia -EU framework.”
Mirzoyan earlier thanked the outgoing FM Annalena Baerbock for cooperation and strengthening ties.
“Thank you, dear Annalena Baerbock , for your dedication to strengthening Armenia-Germany relations, bringing Armenia closer to the EU & for the efforts aimed at establishing peace in the South Caucasus.
