PM Pashinyan holds meeting with Marseille Mayor

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Marseille Mayor Benoît Payan.

The PM welcoming the mayor’s visit to Armenia, stressed the importance of the development of Armenia’s multilateral relations with France, including in the format of local self-government agencies, his office has said.

Pashinyan commended  Payan’s actions and personal efforts aimed at deepening France – Armenia relations.

Marseille Mayor, in turn,  noted that his visit to Armenia is aimed at fostering cooperation with Yerevan, and noted that the development of multi-sectoral relations with Armenia is of great importance to him.

It was noted that during the visit, issues related to cooperation with Yerevan in the fields of infrastructure, education, tourism, culture and the implementation of joint programs, as well as the exchange of experience in various directions, were discussed.

Other issues of mutual interest were also addressed during the meeting.
