Estonia ready to support Armenia in the reform process

Armenia and Estonia expressed readiness to deepen relations in various areas, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal told journalists while summarizing the results of their meeting, Armenpress correspondent has reported from Estonia.

Kristen Michal noted that Estonia is ready to share its experience, particularly in the field of digitalization.

"Mr. Nikol Pashinyan, it is a great honor for me to welcome you and your delegation to Tallinn. The cooperation between our countries is deepening, and I welcome that. Closer cooperation in various areas, as well as the definition of clearer priorities, will take us far," said the Estonian Prime Minister.

She noted that Estonia has achieved significant success in the field of digitalization, reaching a milestone in December 2024 when all public services became fully digitalized. Kristen Michal emphasized that Estonia is ready to share its experience in this area with Armenia.

"It is a great honor for us that Estonia’s experience is also helping Armenia. We will continue to work on digitalization. We are also cooperating in the field of education, particularly in teacher training and educational innovations. By the way, we have launched a process to introduce artificial intelligence into schools. The goal is to better prepare our students for the rapidly changing labor market."

"I would also like to add that the Estonian Development Cooperation Center is helping to diversify the Armenian economy, and we are ready to share our experience in business diplomacy," said the Estonian Prime Minister.
