Chris Rath, the Opposition Whip in the New South Wales Legislative Council of Australia and Shadow Special Minister of State has called on the Australian federal government to officially recognize the Armenian Genocide.
“Today, Armenian-Australians remember the terrible atrocities committed by the Ottoman Empire. I call upon the Federal Government to formally recognise the Armenian Genocide and stand with our Armenian community,” Rath said on X.
