Deputy Speaker Rubinyan informs Russian Deputy FM of recent developments in Armenia-Turkey normalization

The Special Representative of Armenia and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, held a telephone conversation with the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Galuzin, as part of the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Turkey.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, during the call, the Russian side reaffirmed its readiness to continue supporting efforts to facilitate mutual understanding between Yerevan and Ankara, emphasizing that the improvement of Armenian-Turkish relations is an important factor for the stability and sustainable development of the South Caucasus.

Rubinyan briefed Galuzin on the latest developments in the normalization process between Armenia and Turkey.

"A number of issues related to Russian-Armenian relations, as well as cooperation in the South Caucasus region, including within the framework of the 3+3 regional cooperation platform, were discussed," the statement said.

It was noted that the exchange of views took place in a constructive atmosphere.
