Armenian, NATO officials discuss cooperation

Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, during his visit to Brussels, met with Geoffrey van Leeuwen, the Director of the Private Office of the NATO Secretary General.
In a readout, Grigoryan’s office said the officials discussed the security situation in the South Caucasus and the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process. In this context, according to the readout, Grigoryan presented the steps taken by the Armenian government, and Geoffrey van Leeuwen welcomed the conclusion of the talks around the draft peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and attached importance to the efforts aimed at signing the agreement. The Armenia-NATO bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation were also discussed.
